Samsung America has officialy announced three new UMPCs, line of Q1U ultra-mobile PC: the Q1U-ELXP, Q1U-XP and Q1U-SSDXP. Based on Intel Ultra Mobile Platform 2007, all of the Q1U models come with a 7-inch touch-screen display with 1024×600 resolution, a split-QWERTY keypad, 1GB of RAM, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition OS. Olympus held a press conference in Korea to present its new μ795SW and μ790SW digital cameras which can withstand shock and water damage. Comes with refined design with various colors, the μ795SW is shock-proof (drop-able up to 1.5m, off course you shouldn’t try it ), 100kg and water resistant up to 10m depth, while the μ790SW model is shock-proof (up to 3m) and water-proof to depths of up to 3m.
