Sony recently announced the 1Seg TV Tuner for the PSP during PlayStation Premier Show in Tokyo. The TV tuner is designed for the new slimmer and lighter PSP only and because it adopts 1Seg (a mobile data broadcasting service in Japan) technology, this device will not be available in North America. Sony has recently announced the new version of the PlayStation Portable, under the name of PSP-2000 or sometime called as PSP2. This time Sony offers a serious refresh and will satisfy its handheld console fans.
The new console has the same shape, design, and basic functions as ‘the old version’. The old 4.3-inch LCD screen is still being used, but the PSP2 is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer compared to the PSP1, measuring just 23mm thick and weighs only 280gr. Read the rest
