It’s finally official. Microsoft yesterday has officially announced the launch of the much-anticipated Halo 3 for Xbox 360. You can now get a copy of the alien shooter game through Amazon.com or any other retailers, for just $59.99.

In this third chapter of the Halo trilogy, Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax.

The T-Megapack Gaming Pack by Thrustmaster

Along with T-Wireless NW game pad, Thrustmaster also launched a five piece T-Mega pack NW gaming pack designed for all those new gamers. The pack includes a white go-kart style wheel which is covered in white rubber grip, two white silicone protective covers for the nunchuck and controller. Both covers should help gamers suffering from sweaty palms, since it measures just 0.2cm thick.

The white lacquered recharging base for both types of controller and twin rechargeable AA batteries are all included as well. The T-Mega pack NW is now available for purchase in UK market for Â£30 or equal to $60.

Thrustmaster’s T-Wireless NW Gamepad

Thrustmaster has come up with what it claims is “the worldâ€™s first programmable and vibrating wireless gamepad”, called the ‘T-Wireless NW’ . The gaming peripheral device is compatible with both Wii’s GameCube and Nintendo Virtual Console games. Just like the Xbox 360 Eliteâ€™s Wireless Controller, this gamepad also operates on 2.4GHz wireless technology which enables up to 32 feet of wireless range.

The T-Wireless NW’s pad features turbo and mysterious slow buttons. The Turbo function allows users to perform multiple-key combinations with a single button, while the slow button is capable of providing slows down gameplay, this should give users more time to respond. The T-Wireless NW game pad now goes on sale in the UK with an estimated retail price of Â£20 or around $40.

Gamepark GP2X F-200: Linux-based Handheld Gaming Device [IFA2007]

Gamepark Holdings presented its new GP2X F-200 ‘Linux-based handheld gaming device’ which is a successor of F-100 model. With measure 143.6×82.9×29.6mm and weighs 161 gram (without battery pack), the machine features a 3.5-inch TFT LCD (320×240 resolution) with touch screen panel, dual CPU cores, 64MB NAND flash memory, SD card compatible slot and high-speed USB 2.0 support.

The GP2X F-200 allows users to download various arcade as well as emulator games and supports playback of most codecs,including MPEG4, XVID and DIVX. It requires two AA batteries which last up to 3.5 hours when playing video and 6 hours when playing MP3. No word on availability and pricing so far.

Sony to Launch a Limited Edition Ceramic White PlayStation 2 Bundle

Sony has just announced the launch a limited editon Ceramic White PS 2 bundled with two high-quality USB microphones and a SingStar Pop. The features and design remain the same as the black and silver consoles, this means that there’s no special features added on this new Playstation 2, except it’s all white. Just in case you have’nt heard yet, the SlingStar Pop allows you sign real songs from pop starts like Ashlee Simpson, The Clash, The All-American Rejects Alicia Keys, U2, and Rihanna. Multiple players are allowed (up to 8 players).

The new Ceramic White PlayStation 2 bundle will be coming soon (November) in North America for an estimated retail price of $150.

Guitar Hero III Wii Controller Unveiled – First Image!

Activision has finally revealed the upcoming Wii Guitar Hero III controller which will be based on the Gibson Les Paul shape with a removable white faceplate. The controller features a sizeable slot for the Wii Remote and adopts wireless technology. Hopefully this Wii Guitar Hero III controller will be cheaper.

Yes, you read it right. It’s finally official. Sony has recently announced the long hoped price cut for the 60GB Sony PlayStation 3 to a price of $499 and officially announced the launch of the new 80GB PS3 model for the United States market at the price tag of $599.

In only one day after Sony announced the $100 price drop of the PS3, the market has recently begun responding positively. As reported by PS3FanBoy yesterday that sales at Amazon.com have increased by 2800% (today 2700%) for the 60GB PS3 model and become best selling item in video game category list.

Wow…a really surprising result!But, could the PS3 sales continue sky rocketing?Well, let’s see how this goes in the near future….
