Samsung unveiled its new UMPC-like phone, known as the SPH-P9200 which comes with an iPod white color scheme. The ultra mobile PC runs on Windows XP operating system and features a 1GHz processor with an upgraded 512MB memory capacity. The XPS M1730 is the latest gaming laptop from Dell which is claimed to be the first notebook with an integrated physics processing chip. It incorporates an Ageia’s PhysX 100M and dual Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT graphics engines in SLI (512MB of video memory). Dell equips the laptop with a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, but you can choose to upgrade to a four-core Core 2 Extreme X7900 CPU (2.8GHz), of course it will take an extra money out of your pocket (around $1355). Finally, the Asus EEE PC is now available for Pre-Order in US market at AllAsus site with delivery is expected in early October 2007 (this retailer claims to ship the notebooks in early October 2007). The specs of the low-cost ultra-portable laptop PCs are the same as expected as follow:

The upgraded version of Sony Vaio G laptop will go on sale in Japan from October. The new laptop will come with a drip-proof keyboard which obviously discharges water via a special “water pit” at the base of the laptop and even shuts down the system when it got too much water spilled on it. Running on both Windows Vista and XP operating system, the Vaio G2 can be configured either with an Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 or a U7500 processors, Solid State Drive (with 32GB, 48GB or 64GB options) and several different Hard Drive Disk sizes. Here comes the new generation of Sony Vaio UX series line of Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC): the UX 72, UX92S and UX92NS. Instead of a 40GB hard disk drive, Sony now offers a 64GB SSD drive options to its consumer. Moreover, the company equips their new UMPCs with the 64Bit Core 2 Solo processor, such as the U2100 (1.06Ghz) and U2200 (1.20Ghz). Acer has unveiled the newest family member of Ferrari-branded notebook series “The Ferrari 1100″. This new ultra-portable laptop has a 12.1-inch wide screen and features a carbon fiber finish with weighs less than 4.4 pounds.
