HP has come up with the new 2133 Mini Notebook PC which is aimed for student market. Featuring Via C7-M processor, the Mini-Note also comes with a 8.9-inch screen with 1280×768 screen resolution, touch pad, full QWERTY keyboard (8% smaller than normal keyboard), and VGA camera.

HP’s 2133 Mini Notebook PC is available now in 5 different models or versions ranging from $500 to $850.

Samsung SPH-P9200 UMPC Phone: Specs and Video

Samsung unveiled its new UMPC-like phone, known as the SPH-P9200 which comes with an iPod white color scheme. The ultra mobile PC runs on Windows XP operating system and features a 1GHz processor with an upgraded 512MB memory capacity. The hard drive is remain the same with the previous model — 30GB HDD, so do the 5in WVGA screen and split Qwerty keyboard.

The new P9200 UMPC supports for GSM/GPRS/Edge as well as 3G HSDPA networks. It also features WiBro and a built in 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity. No word, if it will support bluetooth — just like the previous P9000 model — or no. Other features, include built-in 1.3 mega-pixels camera module, stylus and some USB ports. Weighing at just 0.65kg, it boasts a battery life of 2.5 hours with the standard battery, but it can be extended up to 5 hours when using a good quality battery. Dell XPS M1730 Gaming Laptop Goes on Sale

The XPS M1730 is the latest gaming laptop from Dell which is claimed to be the first notebook with an integrated physics processing chip. It incorporates an Ageia’s PhysX 100M and dual Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT graphics engines in SLI (512MB of video memory). Dell equips the laptop with a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, but you can choose to upgrade to a four-core Core 2 Extreme X7900 CPU (2.8GHz), of course it will take an extra money out of your pocket (around $1355). The standard M1730 model packs a 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 RAM (in dual-channel configuration) as well as 7200rpm 200GB HDD.

As for the connections, it includes Bluetooth 2.0 as well as 802.11a/b/g wireless (3G HSDPA or EvDO cellular adaptors are also included as optional extras in certain territories). Asus EEE PC 700 and 701 Laptops Now Available for PreOrder

Finally, the Asus EEE PC is now available for Pre-Order in US market at AllAsus site ~~with delivery is expected in early October 2007~~ (this retailer claims to ship the notebooks in early October 2007). The specs of the low-cost ultra-portable laptop PCs are ~~the same as expected~~ as follow:

HP Voodoo ENVY M:152 Gaming Laptop sports Core 2 Extreme Processor

Hewlett Packard updates its Voodoo line up with the new ENVY M:152. The new gaming laptop is said to be “the first Voodoo notebook PC to include an Intel Core 2 Duo chipset” and can be configured with Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor X7800 Extreme CPU. This laptop also comes equipped with NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT graphics engine with 512MB memory and supports DirectX 10.

Unlike the M:151 model which has a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, 1680×1200 screen resolution and weighs 6lbs, the 15.4-inch ENVY M:152 features an integrated 2.0 mega-pixels camera, a 1680×1050 resolution and weighs more at 7lbs. In addition, the system also includes a fingerprint reader, up to 4GB of RAM, Bluetooth support and Windows Vista.

As the first snap-in accessory for FlipStart PC, this camera easily snaps onto that compact PC’s lid and has the capability to capture up to 5MP (2560 x 1920) resolution photos as well as VGA-quality video recording (30 frames per second) with digital zoom.

Sony Vaio G2 ultra-portable Laptop With Drip-Proof Keyboard and SSD

The upgraded version of Sony Vaio G laptop will go on sale in Japan from October. The new laptop will come with a drip-proof keyboard which obviously discharges water via a special “water pit” at the base of the laptop and even shuts down the system when it got too much water spilled on it. Running on both Windows Vista and XP operating system, the Vaio G2 can be configured either with an Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 or a U7500 processors, Solid State Drive (with 32GB, 48GB or 64GB options) and several different Hard Drive Disk sizes.

Other features, include a fingerprint reader, pair of USB ports, memory card slot, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and a high speed Bluetooth connections. The size of a mere 277×215x23.5/25.5mm and weighs between 1.9 and 2.5 pounds. The company claims that the Lithium Ion battery on the G2-KAN will last up to 11 hours.

The Sony Vaio G2 ultra-portable laptop will come in black and silver colors and retails between 154,800 Yen (about $1,346) and 270,000 Yen ($2392), depending on the configuration.

Sony Vaio UX UMPC with a 64bit CPU Coming Soon

Here comes the new generation of Sony Vaio UX series line of Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC): the UX 72, UX92S and UX92NS. Instead of a 40GB hard disk drive, Sony now offers a 64GB SSD drive options to its consumer. Moreover, the company equips their new UMPCs with the 64Bit Core 2 Solo processor, such as the U2100 (1.06Ghz) and U2200 (1.20Ghz). The 32Bit CPU will no longer available, however Sony still offers the Celeron M523 CPU (32bit).

The new Sony Vaio UX series UMPC are expected to hit the market by mid October, that’s about three weeks from now.

Acer unveils the Ferrari 1100 Ultra-portable Laptop

Acer has unveiled the newest family member of Ferrari-branded notebook series “The Ferrari 1100″. This new ultra-portable laptop has a 12.1-inch wide screen and features a carbon fiber finish with weighs less than 4.4 pounds. It is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core CPU and ATI Radeon X1250 graphics engine, according to the press release.

The Acer Ferrari 1100 offers a 250GB hard drive, an integrated slot-loading DVD burner and a Dolby certified surround sound system. It will come preloaded with Window Vista Ultimate/Business/Home Premium operating system. In addition, the Ferrari 1100 will also feature a 802.11a/b/g/ WiFi as well as a fingerprint recognition function. Pricing and availability details are currently unknown.

MSI PR210 YA Edition Ultraportable Notebook with HDMI Output

MSI has just unveiled the PR210 YA Edition ultraportable notebook. Featuring a 12-inch wide display, the new laptop available in three color choices, including Lime Green, Coral Pink, and Denim Blue. It is equipped with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Mobile TK-53 processor running at 1.7 GHz as well as an ATI Radeon Xpress 1270 graphics card.

The MSI PR210 YA includes 1GB of RAM, a 120GB SATA HDD, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, a DVD burner, a fingerprint reader, a 802.11b/g WiFi and a Bluetooth connections. But, the most interesting thing that it sports a HDMI output (a rarity in small laptops). MSI had not announced the availability and pricing for the PR210 YA Edition.
