Datawind has officially announced the launch date and price of its PocketSurfer2 which is claimed as “the World’s fastest handheld Internet device”. Measuring 152×75x15mm and weighs only 174 grams, this handheld offers full Internet access and downloads websites at the speedy rate of 7 to 9 seconds per page.

The DataWind PocketSurfer2 features a VGA color screen that capable to present 640-by-240 resolution, trans-reflective backlight, full QWERTY keyboard and supports Bluetooth connectivity as well as 5 hours of battery life. It will be available in August for £180 or equal to $379. Pre-orders will be opened starting on July 25th at Amazon.
