Helio Fin Cell Phone has just been released the US market. This Samsung device is supposed to be the thinnest flip phone available to date in the United States. The blue-black magnesium-shell flip phone comes in a simple design and is thinner than Motorola Razr with measures at just 0.45-inch thick.
The Helio Fin is likely an improved version of Samsung’s D830 GSM phone that is currently only available in Asia and Europe. Some specs, include a 2.3-inch QVGA screen, 3MP camera, 100MB of memory, microSD card slot, full HTML browser with page zoom, built-in GPS, full featured messaging options and EV-DO speeds . In addition, it also comes with audio video player that supports MP3s, AACs, MPEG4s and H.264 video.
Further more, just like the other Helio devices, the Fin also supports GPS services such as Buddy Beacon and Google Maps for Mobile. POP3 and IMAP support, web email access, and push mail support for Helio Mail, AOL, Yahoo, and Windows Live are all supported as well, so you can quickly connect with your friends or families via email. Even better, it also comes with recently updated HelioUP software, giving you the ability to upload photos and videos directly from your phone to Flicker and YouTube.
With a customizable feed reader, called “Helio On Top” (H.O.T.), you can now add your favorite RSS feeds to the feed reader and have the latest news headlines stream in on your phone’s screen every single day.
The Helio Fin Cell Phone is now available for just $175 with a $50 discount.
