Apple Mac Mini Line-up Refreshed, Now with Intel Core 2 Duo

Along with the iMac line-up, Apple has updated their Mac Mini line with Intel Core 2 processors. With 2-inch tall and 6.5-inch square anodized aluminum enclosure, the new Mac mini run faster by approximately 39 percent when compared to the previous versions.

The cheaper model (priced at $599) now includes 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, and 80GB HDD, while the $799 model comes equipped with 2.0GHz Core Duo and 120GB HDD. Both of the new Mac mini models support 1GB of memory capacity and run on Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger…plus the iLife 08 is pre-installed as well. [Apple Store]
