Here comes the new all-in-one PC from Gateway, known as the ‘One’. It has a nice-looking design with a 19-inch wide display which is capable of providing 1400×900 screen resolution, less than 8ms response time and contrast ratio of 850:1. The ‘One’ also comes with an integrated speakers (adopting NXT SoundVu technology) as well as a power button.
Gateways’ iMac-like desktop PC is now available in three different models (two retail edition and one online edition). The $1800 version includes a 2GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, ATI Mobile Radeon HD 2600 graphics engine, 3GB of RAM and 500GB HDD, while the $1300 version packs a 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo T5250 dual-core CPU, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, 2GB of RAM and 320GB HDD. As for the online model (costs $1500), it has the same specs as the high-end model, but it only offers 400GB HDD.
In addition, all three PCs are pre-installed with Windows Vista operating system and also include dual layer DVD burner, TV Tuner, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi as well as an infrared Media Center remote control. Another interesting thing about the One is, it is almost wire-free (only needs one cable) and uses wireless peripherals. More pics after the break
