This is one of the most wonderful concept I have heard, after coming with $100 One Laptop Per Child windup laptop project, Indian researchers try to Make a $10 laptop which is ten times more cheap than any other computers or laptops in the world….Amazing!
India government has set up everything for this project, and back up by Semiconductor Complex, a state-sponsored designer and manufacturer of integrated circuits.
There are two design of proposal are being considered by the officials, one from a researcher from the Indian Institute of Science and the other from an engineering student from the Vellore Institute of Technology. They are both confident that the laptop will take a half cost of the wind up model (the $100 one), and believe with an advance development, a $10 goal will be reached.
Well, I hope so…..
