Levitating Light Bulb: Wire-Free Powered Light Bulb

The levitating light bulb is the weirdest bulb I’ve ever seen. There is absolutely no strings attached on it and the first question that came across in my mind when I see the picture above was, “Is this some kind of supernatural feat?”. No it is not like that, in fact, this wire-free powered is actually a normal light bulb.
So, how it works? The levitating light bulb is using an electromagnetic system which makes it hang there in space around 2.5-inches above the surface you place it on. The light bulb comes with electromagnets within it which repel those magnets on the ceiling and floor of this installation. It will be presented in Barcelona on June 14th to 16th, 2007.
The light bulb’s maker said that it works much higher efficiency, making it shines brighter and safe the electricity as well.
