Sony has recently announced the new version of the PlayStation Portable, under the name of PSP-2000 or sometime called as PSP2. This time Sony offers a serious refresh and will satisfy its handheld console fans.
The new console has the same shape, design, and basic functions as ‘the old version’. The old 4.3-inch LCD screen is still being used, but the PSP2 is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer compared to the PSP1, measuring just 23mm thick and weighs only 280gr.
The most important thing in this update that is the new PSP features a video-out port, allowing you to enjoy movies, view images, and even play the games on your TV. An enhanced feature which make load-time on games faster is also included inside the console. Even better, you can transfer data via USB from a PC or PS3, while charging the PSP2. It is expected to hit the worldwide market, including Japan, Europe, and North America in September with the price is set at $200 each.
