Sony ‘VAIO TZ18GN’ Laptop with 32GB of SSD storage

Sony introduced the ‘VAIO TZ18GN’ laptop PC. Instead of HDD, the new laptop uses an SSD. As an Solid State Disk based laptop, it offers faster booting speed, lighter weight (at just 1.15kg weight) and the battery will last longer (11.5 hours of battery life), approximately 30 minutes longer when compared to existing Hard Drive Disk based notebook.
The ‘VAIO TZ18GN’ features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM that can be expandable up to 2GB, 32GB of SSD storage and runs on Windows Vista operating system. Blu-ray drive is not included, but it come equipped with a 8x DVD DL drive. It is released with the price tag of US$4,299 (it’s US$700 more expensive than 100GB HDD version). [via Aving]
