Toshiba finally announced the launch of the Qosmio G45-AV680, the first U.S. laptop PC that comes with HD DVD-R optical drive. Featuring Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor running at 2.0GHz, 1GB Intel Turbo Memory, up to 4GB RAM, 320GB hard disk drive, HD DVD burner, and Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT graphics engine (512MB DDR2), the Qosmio notebook is a complete power house with High-Def capabilities.

The Qosmio G45-AV680 supports a piano-key white glossy finish, remote control, 1080p playback, backlit control knobs, USB HDTV Tuner (external), 1 Bit Digital Amplifier, Dolby Home Theater technology, Harman Kardon Bass Reflex stereo speakers and a subwoofer as well. Other notable specs, include 1920×1200 resolution, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, microphone, webcam, and fingerprint reader. As for the operating system, it runs on Windows Vista. Toshiba’s Qosmio G45-AV680 is available now with the price starts from $3200.
