Sony NW-A910 Series Walkman Supports Mobile TV

Sony has officially announced the release date of its ‘Walkman NW-A910 series’ for the Japan market. Supporting 1-Seg, the new walkman has various recording capability, including reserved recording as well as direct recording of TV programming. The NW-A910 series support up to 36-hours of continuous music playback or 6-hours when playing video and can play MP3, WMA and ATRAC music format as well as AVC(H.26)/MPEG-4 video format. The units also feature direct encoding, Clear Bass, Clear Stereo and photo viewer.
Sony offers three different versions with 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities. The 16GB version is able to record max. 100-hours of digital TV. Available from November 17, the 4GB (NW-916), 8GB (NW-A918) and the 16GB (NW-919) cost at around 30,000, 35,000 and 45,000 Yen respectively.

Its da’ BOMB,………. sony has reclaimed its throne and its about time. nwz-618f sounds great n i can’t wait for this to hit the US!!! Only cowon and sony have great sound ALL across the board. try either pmp and you’ll see what i mean!!! Too bad its not a model w/at least 30gbs. I’ll settle for the quality. ‘ve done the same with the cowon d2. def worth it!!!!!
