Sony Unveils its GV-HD700E world’s first HD Video Walkman

Sony has just unveiled its GV-HD700E world’s first HD Video Walkman that comes with pro feature, allowing users to enjoy HDV as well as DV tapes while they are on the go. The HD700E has a 7-inch LCD display that capable to present 1,152K (800Hx480Vx3RGB) screen resolution.

Sony’s HD Video Walkman is able to play back HDV as well as short- and long-play miniDV tapes. Since it is able to record HDV1080i/DV signals from an external source, professional videographers can use the GV-HD700E as a back-up deck. Furthermore, it has only three buttons for fourteen functions (search, index mark and playback zoom). The GV-HD700E Video Walkman is expected to hit Europe starting September this year, while the price is unknown.
