Toshiba Releases Gigabeat T400 Flash-based Music Player in US

The new Gigabeat T400 music player has just been released by Toshiba in the US market, following the launch of the Japanese version ‘Gigabeat T401‘. The chipset of the new music player is able to restore many details that lost in the compression of MP3 as well as WMA tracks. Moreover, Its 1-bit digital amp and filter will reduce background hiss and other noise as well.
Toshiba’s Gigabeat T400 comes with a flash memory as well as a 2.4-inch LCD and supports Windows Media Lossless. This flash-based player can play WMV movies for up to 5-hours, while the music playing time is 16 hours. The 4GB model with black color retails for $120.
