T-Mobile updates its Sidekick mobile phone with two new models. The first model, known as the Sidekick LX is a high-end model which is equipped with a screen that has more than twice the resolution of the Sidekick 3 (the previous ‘high-end’ model). the LX is slimmer when compared to the previous model and is reportedly to be the the company’s first ever to enables text messages with attached images. It boasts a 1.3 mega pixels camera and a microSD card slot (128MB memory card included). The Sidekick LX will be available from 17th October for $300 with a two-year contract. Read the rest

SK Telecom Korea has just signed a groundbreaking deal with Iljin Display to bring a Nano Projector function built into cellphones. The projector has the capability of throwing up to 20-inch size image onto a screen or wall. Having a video projector function onto smartphones really makes sense. Read the rest
