Giant Samsung has just unveiled its new LCD TV (1080p) which measures just 1cm thick. According to the company the 40-inch display has a bezel that’s just 1.5cm, down from the 3cm typical of today’s similarly sized LCD TVs. The panel, using an LED backlight that allows it to reach 92 % of the NTSC standard for color saturation. Read the rest

The new gaming laptop is said to be “the first Voodoo notebook PC to include an Intel Core 2 Duo chipset” and can be configured with Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor X7800 Extreme CPU. Acer has unveiled the newest family member of Ferrari-branded notebook series “The Ferrari 1100″. This new ultra-portable laptop has a 12.1-inch wide screen and features a carbon fiber finish with weighs less than 4.4 pounds. Fujitsu Siemens has officially announced two new laptops, called the AMILO Xi 2428 and 2528 at IFA 2007. These new notebooks are specially designed for digital films, MP3 sound files, video telephony and chat. Among the two laptops, the 2428 is the smaller one — Weighing just 3kg, it has a 15.4-inch wide screen, integrated webcam, loudspeakers and microphone, 3x USB, HDMI and a 5-in-1 card reader.
