Toshiba Japan has recently launched its latest portable audio player - the ‘Gigabeat V41′. Coming with 4GB of internal memory, the new PMP allows you to store up to 99 programs and set a selected program to be recorded at a predesignated time with the help of Electronic Program Guide. It seems that the much anticipated iRiver W10 PMP will be launched starting November (at least in Korea market first). This portable media player will have 3-inch TFT touch screen with 480×272 resolution, VoIP capability, AOL XM radio streaming, integrated FM tuner and WiFi connectivity with GPS-like positioning from Skyhook and NAVTEQ maps. Meizu finally announced some specs for the the upcoming Meizu M7 PMP which could be a chalengger to new iPod Touch. Measuring 89-by-48-by-7.3 mm, the M7 has a 2.81-inch touch screen with 480-by-288 resolution, 15:9 aspect ratio and is capable to display 16.6million colors. Check out the F456 PMP that doubles as a digital camera from KBS Industrial (a China-based manufacturer, I guess). It comes with dual-front Design, a 2.4-inch screen, 1.3 mega-pixels camera module, and support for various audio and video files, including MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV, MPEG-4 and MVP. Earlier this year SanDisk unveiled of its Sansa View and then the company somewhat canceled the product — perhaps they thought it might not meet the market needs. LG’s latest take on a portable media player incorporates a built-in DMB TV receiver, known as the LG T54. The PMP looks shiny with measure of a mere 54.4×92.6×11.5mm and boasts a 2.4-inch display. Samsung has just updated its product’s portfolio by releasing the new 8-MP ‘i85′ Digital Camera that doubles up as PMP as well. It has a 3-inch LCD screen, 5x optical NV zoom lens, 2.5-mm headphone jack and 256MB of onboard memory with SDHC expansion.
