Microsoft has finally unveiled three new Zune 2 media player. All three models are equipped with touch-sensitive controls for easy navigation and allow you to sync with wireless networks. Unlike the original Zune model which sports 30-GB memory, the high-end model (Zune 80) boasts a 80-GB storage capacity and has a bigger 3.2-inch display. The size of a mere 61.1×108.2×12.9mm. Other features, include WMA Lossless Support, FM Tuner, Built-in WiFi, Podcast support and plays music in H.264, MPEG-4, and WMV formats. This model (black color) is priced at about $250. Both comes with a 4-line OLED screen, up to 2GB of flash memory and a USB mass storage mode. This digital audio player can play MP3 or DRM’d WMA audio for up to 21-hours in a single charge. Toshiba Japan has recently launched its latest portable audio player - the ‘Gigabeat V41′. Coming with 4GB of internal memory, the new PMP allows you to store up to 99 programs and set a selected program to be recorded at a predesignated time with the help of Electronic Program Guide. Sony has officially announced the release date of its ‘Walkman NW-A910 series’ for the Japan market. Supporting 1-Seg, the new walkman has various recording capability, including reserved recording as well as direct recording of TV programming. The NW-A910 series support up to 36-hours of continuous music playback or 6-hours when playing video and can play MP3, WMA and ATRAC music format as well as AVC(H.26)/MPEG-4 video format. It seems that the much anticipated iRiver W10 PMP will be launched starting November (at least in Korea market first). This portable media player will have 3-inch TFT touch screen with 480×272 resolution, VoIP capability, AOL XM radio streaming, integrated FM tuner and WiFi connectivity with GPS-like positioning from Skyhook and NAVTEQ maps. Meizu finally announced some specs for the the upcoming Meizu M7 PMP which could be a chalengger to new iPod Touch. Measuring 89-by-48-by-7.3 mm, the M7 has a 2.81-inch touch screen with 480-by-288 resolution, 15:9 aspect ratio and is capable to display 16.6million colors.
