Sony has recently announced its new PSP-2000 (also known as ’slim’ PSP) is finally available now. It is thinner and lighter than previous versions, make it really comfortable in your hands. As part of a $199.99 Entertainment Pack, the PSP-2000 comes in silver color and includes a copy of Daxter, Family Guy and a 1GB Memory Stick as well. Sony has recently unveiled the Go!Explore - a GPS navigation plugin for the PSP. The new plugin will provide users with maps of TeleAtlas as well as the software of NavNGo and is expected to hit the market sometime in holiday season this year. Due to its high processor power, the 3D city maps that is provided by TeleAtlas can be viewed without any problem on the PSP. Read the rest

Finally, Sony launched its Portable PlayStation’s (PSP) firmware update, allowing the owners to stream content directly from their PlayStation 3 through a wireless connection.
