The ‘SGH-i550’ smartphone from Samsung has just been showcased at London’s Symbian Smartphone Show. It is the manufacturer’s first smartphone that comes with GPS navigator feature. It runs on Symbian operating system v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1 allows you to choose from hundreds, even thousands of apps from the S60 applications library and give access to your favorites with the help of its dedicated hot keys. Giant Samsung has just unveiled its new LCD TV (1080p) which measures just 1cm thick. According to the company the 40-inch display has a bezel that’s just 1.5cm, down from the 3cm typical of today’s similarly sized LCD TVs. The panel, using an LED backlight that allows it to reach 92 % of the NTSC standard for color saturation. Read the rest

Featuring a special Beyonce-styled start-up screen, the cell phone allows users to load premium music and video including exclusive videos and photo gallery of this talented singstar. Samsung rolls out three new music phone that support for MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, WMDRM file formats: the SGH-i450, SGH-F210, and SGH-F330. All of them sports an external memory card slot. The SGH-i450 is a Dual Slider phone that is equipped with touch wheel music navigation. The HSDPA compatible mobile phone runs on Symbian S60. It will be available in Italy in late October and soon will be released in all over Europe. Suggested retail price is at around 380 Euros. Read the rest

Samsung unveiled its new UMPC-like phone, known as the SPH-P9200 which comes with an iPod white color scheme. The ultra mobile PC runs on Windows XP operating system and features a 1GHz processor with an upgraded 512MB memory capacity. Bang & Olufsen and Samsung are teamed up to bring the ‘funky’ Mobile Phone, called Serenata. It comes in nice design with a music player and features a touch-sensitive scroll wheel for easy navigation. It offers 4GB storage capacity and play music in AAC, MP3, and WMA formats. Here are some photos of the new the Samsung F200 music phone (the successor of the X830 swivel phone). Of what can be seen from the photos, it comes with the same body design as its predecessor, but is reportedly more focused to music and has less memory capacity (only 5MB of internal memory) than the X830 (1GB). Electronics giant Samsung has officialy announced its new Ultra Smart “SGH-F700″ (which was first introduced during 3GSM World Congress back in Februari 2007) in the European market through Vodafone.
